oh god....then the TMNT handrawn show did a good job of making him better, he had Leatherhead beat the living shit out of an Australian guy (maybe a reference to the fact that he isn't the bad character he once was) and made him super smart
Leatherhead better not be a villain. At least, not for long.... I LOVE the guy! I know only his 2k self though. But I say he is sweet, caring, tough and gruff, yes, but has a gentle heart. I WILL DIE IF HE STAYS BAD!!!
Now to the TMNTs defense they did speed off at like Mach 5 in a subway car. I am sure Leatherhead will return in future episodes. I am sort of holding out for a good sculpt of an action figure of him. I am glad you are enjoying the show. My friend and I will be discussing the show on our podcast.
He is their first major ally so I am sure he will. I would like to see him get training from Master Splinter to help control his rage. I look at Leatherhead as the Hulk of TMNT and I want to see him comeback to go one on one against Dogpound.
It seems unlike he will be good, since in the "Dark Horizion" game on the Nick TMNT site the turtles fight him. But who knows, maybe he will become good. Time will tell. Though personally, I think I'll like this evil version of him. Unlike the 80's version, this version seems alot tougher than that verison.
Since "Dark Horizions" is based on the new series, it's likely LH will be evil. Plus I belive it has been mention he was going to be evil back when he was announced. We'll see when he appears on the show.
I see. But still, we don't know exactly how leatherhead will be handled on the show. Just because Nick is making him a villian instead of a good guy doesn't mean it will bad. It just depends on how he's handled. Besides, gators prey on turtles, so maybe it's just because of instinct. We'll see in time.
